For an established Austrian industrial company headquartered in Styria, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who, together with an operational management team, will take overall responsibility for market, sales, corporate development, and strategic growth. The focus is on the further development of the company, the expansion of existing markets, and the active shaping of future growth initiatives in a demanding B2B environment. The company generates revenue in the mid-three-digit million range and employs around 1,000 people.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for market, sales, and corporate development with revenue, profit, and growth responsibility
- Further development of the sales strategy as well as consistent expansion of existing and new business areas
- Leadership and further development of a nationwide sales organization in Austria
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers, public clients, and strategic partners
- Identification, evaluation, and implementation of growth and acquisition opportunities (M&A)
- Strategic management of a broadly diversified investment portfolio and further development of the individual companies
- Representation of the company to customers, owners, authorities, associations, and other relevant stakeholders
- Close collaboration with an operational management team and the representatives of the owners for the sustainable development of the company
- Responsibility for marketing, innovation, and the further development of digital sales and business processes
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in an executive, divisional board, or comparable management position with comprehensive accountability for results
- Proven successes in sales as well as in the development and implementation of sustainable growth strategies
- Experience in corporate development, investment management, and M&A projects
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset combined with high independence and decisiveness
- Experience in dealing with owners, supervisory boards, and complex stakeholder structures
- Leadership experience in medium-sized or larger corporate structures
- Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in actively driving change and sustainably developing organizations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills at all levels
- Very good German and English language skills
For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
