Most of our mandates come from family-owned and owner-led companies in Austria and southern Germany: businesses appointing a non-family managing director, hiring a first CFO, or replacing someone who has held the same role for twenty years. Alongside them we work for international groups filling a leadership position in the DACH region.
Company size
Roughly 150 to 80,000 employees. Family businesses, owner-led groups, private equity portfolio companies, and the DACH units of international corporations.
Role level
We fill the first and second leadership levels: managing directors and board members — CEO, CFO, COO, CSO and CIO — as well as the directors and heads of function directly beneath them, from sales and finance to HR and IT. Plus supervisory and advisory board mandates.
Form of mandate
Retained only. A written mandate brief, a defined timeline, and a named partner who runs the search personally.
Where a supervisory board or advisory board is the deciding body, we work directly with that body, including the handling of internal candidates.
