Our client is an organization with a long history and an established position in the health and social sector in Styria. With a clear focus on consulting, prevention, research promotion, and supporting affected individuals and their relatives, the organization actively contributes to an important societal role in the region.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and socially competent leader who will take overall responsibility for the operational business and strategically develop the organization. This key role offers significant scope for design and direct influence on the future of a meaningful institution.

Your tasks:


  • Overall responsibility for the operational daily business of the organization as well as close collaboration with the voluntary board and presidency
  • Strategic development of the organization regarding consulting services, public relations, and outreach
  • Responsibility for fundraising, sponsorship, event management, and ensuring financial sustainability
  • Leadership and development of the full-time team as well as coordination of voluntary structures
  • Representation of the organization externally to the media, partners, politics, and the public
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with medical institutions, research facilities, and social organizations
  • Responsibility for budget planning, controlling, and reporting to the board
  • Ensuring and further developing the quality of all consulting and service offerings for affected individuals and their relatives
Your profile:

  • Completed studies, ideally in business administration, social management, health management, or a comparable field
  • Several years of leadership experience, ideally in the non-profit, health, or social sector
  • Strong communication skills and experience in public relations as well as in dealing with media
  • Experience in fundraising, sponsorship, or acquiring funding is an advantage
  • High level of social competence, empathy, and sensitivity in dealing with affected individuals
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, structured working style, and ability to proactively drive change
  • Identification with the values and social mission of the organization



For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
