Our client is part of an internationally leading industrial group and operates in Switzerland in the field of high-quality materials, industrial processing, and technical services. The company serves demanding customers from various industries and combines technical expertise with a strong sales and service organization.
As part of a strategic development, we are looking for the Swiss company with around 100 employees a CEO / Managing Director (m/f/d) with a strong commercial orientation, leadership experience, and a good understanding of industrial structures.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for the Swiss company with multiple locations as well as full profit and loss responsibility.
- Strategic and operational development of the company as well as sustainable strengthening of the market position.
- Leadership and development of the areas of sales, operations, processing, and technical services.
- Further development of existing structures, responsibilities, and processes as part of a comprehensive transformation.
- Management and further development of the sales organization as well as expansion of strategically relevant customer relationships.
- Further development of important market segments, particularly in the areas of tooling, MedTech, precision industry, and other demanding industrial applications.
- Leadership and development of the management team as well as creating a clear, trusting, and performance-oriented corporate culture.
- Close collaboration with international management as well as relevant functions within a global matrix organization.
- Identification of new market and business potentials as well as further development of the product and service portfolio.
- Representation of the company to strategic customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
Your profile:
- Several years of leadership experience as Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager, Business Unit Director, or in a comparable management position.
- Experience in an international industrial company, ideally in the areas of Specialty Metals, metal processing, tooling, precision engineering, MedTech, industrial components, or a comparable technical B2B environment.
- Strong commercial competence and experience in sales, business development, and strategic market development.
- Experience with profit and loss responsibility as well as in leading larger teams and organizational units.
- Proven experience in change, transformation, or restructuring processes.
- Experience in international corporate and matrix structures.
- Entrepreneurial, structured, and at the same time pragmatic hands-on mentality.
- Confident leadership personality with strong communication skills and the ability to engage employees even in times of change.
- Fluent in German and English; knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage.
- Presence at the location in the Zurich area as well as willingness to travel within Switzerland and internationally.
For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
