For an internationally active technology company in the field of robotics and industrial automation, we are looking for a Electrical (Design) Engineer Robotics (m/f/d) for the location Boston, Massachusetts (USA). In this technically demanding key role, you will take responsibility for the development and design of innovative robotics and automation solutions, guiding them from the initial idea to successful implementation. We are looking for an entrepreneurial thinker with solid experience in electrical design, enthusiasm for robotics, and a pronounced hands-on mentality.
- Development and design of innovative electrical systems for robotics and automation solutions
- Creation of circuit diagrams, electrical layouts, and control cabinet concepts
- Planning and further development of electrical control and automation systems
- Creation and maintenance of bill of materials and technical documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards as well as machine and functional safety
- Support in prototype construction, manufacturing, commissioning, and conducting functional tests and electrical measurements
- Development of new technical application cases together with international customers
- Responsibility for the entire product development process from conception through design to successful series production
- Close collaboration with international development and project teams
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, telematics, or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional experience in the area of electrical design or electrical construction
- Experience in the field of robotics, automation, or special machine construction
- Knowledge in the use of engineering or CAE systems such as COMOS or comparable tools
- Experience with PLC and industrial control technology is an advantage
- Knowledge in the area of machine and plant safety
- Entrepreneurial personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality and enjoyment in actively shaping new technologies
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Very good English skills
- Willingness for a training phase in Austria as well as the subsequent long-term assignment in Boston
For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
