Head of Surface Technology (m/f/d) – Industrial Company – Southern Styria (AT)

Your areas of responsibility:
- Responsibility for the planning, control, and further development of surface technology with a focus on powder coating and galvanization
- Ensuring a smooth production process as well as compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards
- Optimization of existing processes and continuous development of coating and galvanization methods
- Coordination and leadership of the team in the field of surface technology including deployment planning and development of employees
- Analysis of production metrics and derivation and implementation of improvement measures (KVP, Lean)
- Close collaboration with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and engineering
- Responsibility for compliance with relevant standards, certifications, and documentation in the field of surface treatment
- Support for investment projects as well as the introduction of new technologies and systems
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in surface technology, ideally with a focus on powder coating and/or galvanization
- Solid technical understanding of coating processes as well as chemical and physical relationships
- Experience in leading teams in an industrial production environment
- Structured, solution-oriented, and practical working style with high implementation strength
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High degree of personal responsibility and hands-on mentality
- Experience with quality standards, environmental regulations, and relevant norms is an advantage
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with appropriate on-site presence
