We are looking for a practical and experienced leader who will take overall responsibility for the welding area. This key role offers the opportunity to actively shape processes, lead a multicultural team, and make a tangible contribution to the quality and efficiency of production.
- Overall responsibility for the welding area in a 2-shift operation with around 25 employees
- Leadership, allocation, and further development of the team in close collaboration with the shift leader
- Ensuring quality standards in ongoing production
- Managing daily operations in production as well as creating and coordinating shift schedules
- Maintenance and repair of equipment as well as responsibility for smooth operations
- Preparation of feasibility studies and robot programming
- Abhalten und Koordination interner Zertifizierungen im Schweißbereich (IWT, IWS oder IWE)
- Close collaboration and direct reporting line to the production manager
- Certification as an International Welding Specialist (IWS), International Welding Technologist (IWT), or International Welding Engineer (IWE)
- Several years of leadership experience in a manufacturing company, ideally in shift operations
- Practical, hands-on personality with natural authority and handshake quality
- Experience in leading multicultural teams – very good German language skills are mandatory
- Knowledge in robot programming as well as experience with machine maintenance is an advantage
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with clear and open communication
For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
