We are looking for aGlobal Category Manager Ice Cream (m/f/d). In this internationally oriented key role, you will take on global responsibility for the Ice Cream category within the Portfolio Development Organization. You will shape the future portfolio strategy, identify international growth opportunities, and drive cross-functional projects together with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and prominent international customers. The position can be fully remote or based at one of the European company locations.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Global responsibility for the strategic development of the Ice Cream category
- Development and implementation of the international portfolio strategy
- Identification of new market and growth potentials as well as derivation of strategic measures
- Management of international, cross-functional projects from idea to market launch
- Close collaboration with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and international locations
- Analysis of market, competitive, and customer trends for the further development of the product portfolio
- Active collaboration with international key accounts and strategic customers
- Support for global sales in developing new business opportunities
- Presentation and representation of the category at international customer meetings, workshops, and trade fairs
Your profile:
- Completed studies (University/University of Applied Sciences), preferably in the field of food technology, business administration, marketing, or a comparable discipline
- Several years of experience in portfolio management, product management, or project management
- Ideally experience in the areas of ice cream, ice cream ingredients, flavors, dairy, or frozen food
- Strong strategic and commercial understanding as well as analytical thinking
- Experience in international project management and managing complex stakeholders
- Communicative personality with high self-initiative and assertiveness
- Fluent in English; additional foreign languages are an advantage
- High willingness to travel internationally
For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
