  • Active operational participation in electrical design as well as independent processing of selected projects and sub-projects.
  • Creation, review, and approval of circuit diagrams, commission lists, ordered parts lists, and technical documentation.
  • Ensuring compliant, technically sound, and economical vehicle planning, including the complete software-related planning and change scopes.
  • Responsibility for meeting deadlines, cost, and quality targets as well as prioritizing ongoing projects based on capacity, customer deadlines, and production sequence.
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the electrical planning team, including deployment and capacity planning, even during project peaks.
  • Further development of employees through ongoing coaching, training, feedback, and structured employee discussions, as well as participation in recruiting, selection, and onboarding.
  • Close coordination with adjacent areas such as sales, project management, mechanical design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and service.
  • Coordination of technical objectives, project content, and priorities with management, as well as participation in construction meetings, approval rounds, and order discussions.
  • Direct customer support as needed in the context of special and project vehicles, as well as a contact person for internal and external stakeholders on electrical engineering issues.
  • Active support of the vehicles during the construction phase with a focus on parts availability, information flow, software transfer, and technical clarifications.
  • Participation in the inspection, acceptance, and approval of completed vehicles in the area of electrical/electronics, as well as acting as an escalation instance for technical problems in implementation.
  • Identification of quality issues, root causes of errors, and process deviations, as well as deriving sustainable corrective measures.
  • Further development of planning standards, design guidelines, libraries, testing concepts, and documentation standards with a view to standardization, modularization, and reuse of technical solutions.
Your profile:

  • Completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, or a comparable qualification, ideally with further education (HTL, master, technician, university of applied sciences, degree) with a focus on electrical engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in electrical planning, electrical design, or electrical system planning in vehicle, machinery, or plant construction.
  • Solid experience in the planning of circuit diagrams, parts lists, order parts lists, and technical documentation.
