Project Manager in the international SAP S/4HANA rollout (m/f/d) - Global Industrial Company - Upper Styria (AT)

For an internationally active industrial company with several thousand employees and numerous locations worldwide, we are looking for a project manager in the international SAP S/4HANA rollout (m/f/d) for a location in Upper Styria. In this strategically important role, you will take overall responsibility for international SAP S/4HANA rollout projects within a long-term transformation program fully supported by the board and bring structure and control to a complex, internationally structured environment. We are looking for an experienced, structured personality with leadership strength, international experience, and a clear focus on business value rather than pure IT implementation.
- Management of international SAP S/4HANA rollout projects with overall responsibility for operational implementation within the global program
- Leadership of project-related teams with approximately 20–40 employees as well as management of the internal IT service provider and external partners
- Management of international rollouts and further development of the global rollout template
- Ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality objectives with a focus on business value
- Change management, communication, and user adoption in the rollout companies
- Collaboration on further IT management and process management projects
- Close collaboration with international stakeholders up to management level as well as active participation in the program core team
- Completed studies (University/University of Applied Sciences) with a focus on project management, IT/digitalization, or business processes
- Proven experience in international SAP S/4HANA rollout projects
- Experienced personality in the mid-seniority range with leadership experience in project organizations
- Experience in dealing with different corporate cultures and international stakeholders
- General project management with a good understanding of SAP processes – explicitly not a module specialist
- Knowledge in several SAP areas is an advantage, e.g., FI/CO, logistics, sales, warehouse management, production, project system (PS)
- Solid experience in process management as well as in the analysis and optimization of business processes
- IPMA certification or comparable project management certifications are an advantage (e.g., PRINCE2, SAP Activate)
- Very good English and German language skills
- Willingness to travel of about 25–30%, mainly within the respective rollout countries
For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
