Regional Sales Manager (m/w/d) - Software for Security and Building Automation - Bayern/Baden Württemberg (GER)

Our client is an established, globally operating software company with over 30 years of experience in developing solutions for security technology and building automation. With a manufacturer-neutral, open platform for visualizing and controlling security-relevant systems, the company holds a leading position in its segment – the software is used in over 80 countries.

We are looking for a sales-driven and technically skilled individual who will be responsible for the regional sales of complex software solutions (B2B) in the South region and build and expand a robust network of system partners and customers. This key role offers significant creative freedom, high personal responsibility, and direct influence on growth in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg – flexible and predominantly remote.

Your areas of responsibility:


  • Regional sales of complex, explanation-required software solutions (B2B) in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg
  • Development and implementation of a successful sales strategy for the South region
  • Building and expanding trusting, long-term customer relationships in the sales area
  • Acquisition of new system partners, installers, and potential customers
  • Accompanying the entire sales cycle – from needs assessment through product presentations and workshops to solutions, in close coordination with pre-sales and technology
  • Contributing to the further development of the product based on market structure and customer feedback
  • Representing the company at regional trade fairs and events
Your profile:

  • Completed technical training (e.g. electrical engineering, IT, automation); a technical or business degree is an advantage, but not a must
  • Solid experience in technical or solution-oriented B2B sales of complex software solutions / in IT application consulting
  • IT/IoT affinity and basic understanding of cloud approaches (platforms, interfaces, data flows, network/security basics)
  • Experience in dealing with installers, system integrators, or in the channel/system house environment
  • Industry knowledge in security technology/building automation or touchpoints to physical security or plant protection is an advantage
  • Confident appearance, negotiation skills, and acquisition strength
  • Independent working style, regional willingness to travel, as well as very good German and good English skills
  • Preferably residing in Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg


For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
