Specialist International Accounting & Divisional Tax (m/f/d) – Global Industrial Company – Upper Styria (Austria)

For an internationally active industrial company with several thousand employees and numerous locations worldwide, we are looking for an employee for the area of International Accounting and divisional tax issues (m/f/d) for a location in Upper Styria. In this versatile expert role, you will work at the interface between international accounting, consolidation, and taxes, and accompany central financial issues within a globally positioned division. We are looking for an analytical, independent personality with solid know-how in IFRS and tax law, as well as an interest in an international corporate environment.
- Preparation of transfer pricing documentation as well as handling tax issues and special projects
- Assessment of balance sheet matters according to IFRS and coordination with internal and external experts
- Consolidation of quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets, and planning calculations at the divisional or business unit level according to IFRS
- Preparation of consolidated tax reconciliation statements and tax disclosures for financial reporting
- Determination and preparation of corporate tax and deferred taxes in the international corporate context
- Preparation of analyses and documents for internal and external audits as well as tax audits
- Competent contact person for tax advisors and auditors
- Collaboration on cross-cutting issues and projects in the area of accounting, taxes, and finance
- Completed studies (University/University of Applied Sciences) in the field of Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Accounting, Accounting and/or Tax Law
- In-depth knowledge of accounting according to UGB and IFRS
- Good knowledge of tax law, especially in the area of corporate tax and deferred taxes
- Experience with transfer pricing as well as the preparation of transfer pricing documentation
- Knowledge in the preparation of tax reconciliation statements according to IAS 12
- Good SAP knowledge in finance
- Experience with consolidation systems, ideally OneStream, as well as with leasing tools like AMANA GLC is an advantage
- Very good German and good English skills
- Analytical, structured and independent working style as well as a pronounced sense of responsibility
- Team and communication skills as well as initiative and good self-management
For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a market-compliant salary with significant overpayment is offered.
