Our client is an established public health organization with a wide network of clinics and care locations in Lower Austria. With a clear focus on modern, patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the continuous development of its specialized departments, the organization holds a leading position in regional healthcare. For a well-accessible location in Lower Austria (Greater Vienna area), we are looking for a dedicated medical professional for child and adolescent psychiatric care.

We are looking for a professionally skilled and team-oriented individual who takes responsibility for the diagnostics, treatment, and support of children and adolescents and actively shapes child and adolescent psychiatric care. This key role offers significant scope for design, a respectful multiprofessional environment, and direct influence on the further development of the department.

Your areas of responsibility:


  • Independent child and adolescent psychiatric diagnostics, therapy, and case management in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
  • Treatment of the entire spectrum of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders based on a holistic, therapeutic approach
  • Close collaboration in a multiprofessional team (psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy)
  • Co-design and further development of treatment concepts as well as outpatient and day clinic structures
  • Professional guidance and support of resident doctors as well as participation in training
  • Constructive collaboration with referring agencies, relatives, and the regional care network
Your profile:

  • Completed specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry (or close to completion) – alternatively, specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapeutic medicine with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Ius practicandi or recognition of training in Austria (or willingness to undergo nostrification)
  • Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric settings
  • Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work and a holistic, therapeutic understanding of treatment
  • Psychotherapeutic additional qualification is an advantage
  • Fluent German (additional languages are an advantage) as well as empathy and a sense of responsibility in dealing with young patients and their families
