Senior Business Development Manager Defence Europe – Battery Energy Systems (m/w/d) – Remote (AT, DE, UK, FR)

With growing traction in the military and law enforcement sector, our client is expanding its presence across Europe. The company offers a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with high growth potential and the opportunity to actively shape a new market within the defence and security landscape.

Your responsibilities:


  • Full ownership of business development activities across Europe within the military and law enforcement sector
  • Development and execution of go to market strategies for defence and security customers
  • Identification, development and expansion of key accounts across European markets
  • Analysis of market opportunities, competitive landscape and entry barriers including compliance requirements
  • Identification, management and successful execution of tenders and RFP processes
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with military organizations, law enforcement agencies and procurement bodies
  • Acting as key interface between customers and internal product teams to drive product development based on market needs
  • Supporting and enabling local sales teams in navigating complex procurement processes
  • Development and management of strategic partnerships with integrators, resellers and defence contractors
  • Driving revenue growth and market positioning within the European defence segment
Your profile:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the defence, military or law enforcement environment
  • Strong track record in selling technical or hardware based solutions into government or institutional customers
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, tenders and regulatory frameworks in Europe
  • Existing network within military, defence or security organizations
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands on and self driven working style
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced and international environment
  • Fluent English, additional languages such as German, French, Spanish or Arabic are a strong advantage
  • High willingness to travel across Europe

For this position, a minimum salary according to the applicable collective agreement applies. Depending on qualifications and experience, a highly competitive compensation package with significant overpayment is offered.
